Guest Speaker: District Superintendent Rev. Roger Lewis.
Join us as we celebrate all that God has done with us, through us, and for us. This is not only a celebration of what this church has been able to do financially but it is a testament to what God can do when a man of God and the people of God follow whole-hearted after His perfect will.

It has been 10 years since NTCC moved from 4560 Narrow Lane Road to 10300 Hwy 80 East. While our pastor, Rev. Timothy C. Mitchell, was driving home one day God told him to get off of I-85 and drive to a certain piece of property. When he got there God told him to buy it and build a new church building there. Bro. Mitchell obeyed God's command and the church purchased 10.5 acres facing I-85 for $200,000. At that point the land sat far away from the city of Montgomery, where most of the congregation lived. It seemed as though the church would be out in the middle of nowhere. But God blessed us for our obedience. We received a $500,000 loan to build the church and off we went. Today through many improvements and the fact that the city of Montgomery has grown in around us, our church and its property is worth $4.5 million. That is quite a return from a $700,000 investment! Through very controlled spending and a dedication to giving, this church has not only paid off the church building but improved in a great deal from its original design.

The original commercial grade carpeted hallways have now been replaced with Itailian porcelian tile. The linoleum tile in the bathrooms have also been replaced with quality ceramic tile. The foyer went from being just a two color paint job to having chairrail with solid birch wainscotting underneath. All the rubber baseboard has been replaced with 6" solid pine trim. The sanctuary doors were recently trimmed with large fluted moulding and a ram's head pediment. We have also added faux marble painting to the walls and the ceiling of the sanctuary. State of the art speakers, compressor/limiters, and equalizers have been added to the sound system. High Definition video projectors have been added to the sanctuary as well. The church has also been consistently growing in numbers and in annointing.

We as a congregation have seen just about all the miracles of the Bible performed in our midst. Cancers have been healed, blinded eyes have been opened, and angels have been seen during service. Tongues with an interpertation occurs almost every service as our saints allow themselves to be used for God to speak to His people. We are also one of the most multicultural churches in the state of Alabama. We have people representing countries from all over the world including Nigeria, Panama, and America. We thank God that we have been able to reach people the world over through our efforts and the efforts of the almost 30 missionaries we support on a monthy basis.
