The Youth Department needs your help bringing in the sheaves. Starting Sunday, May 16th and ending in August the young people will be collecting change for our Sheaves For Christ fundraiser. We will show a video presentation to kickoff this season of giving and encourage each of you to pick up a SFC can. This year we are emphasizing the fact that the money does not have to solely come from you, the church member. You can simple ask your friends, coworkers and neighbors if they have any loose change to donate in support of our youth group. Of course, we are happy to accommodate any who want to donate all that loose change in their pockets and purses After all the money is collected we will determine who turned in the most and the top five givers will receive prizes. The theme for this year’s campaign is “Live to Give.” The money that we raise will go towards Foreign Missionaries, Home Missionaries, Educational Scholarships, and Alabama District Youth Projects. We encourage you to reach down deep and help our young people “Change the World” one penny at a time.
