| Neil Armstrong’s first remark when he stepped onto the moon was: “It’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” He was stepping into territory that no one had been before. At the end of February, the youth of the Alabama District are going to be asked to do a similar feat: step into enemy territory and reclaim it for Jesus. On Friday, February 26th at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, February 27th at 10:00 a.m., the youth will be headed to the District Campground for Alabama Youth Explosion. This year’s conference is entitled Take the Step. We are very blessed to have a great speaker for this event, Rev. Terry Black from Memphis, TN. There will be a fellowship event following the Friday Night Service, but the details have not been determined by the District Youth Board at the time of print. Additionally, the awards for Sheaves For Christ will be given out at the Friday Night Service. The NTCC Youth doubled their giving from last year to $2009.00 We look forward to seeing every young person in attendance. Let’s Take the Step together!
