Prayer and Fasting—these two things combined break the bonds of oppression, the yoke of sin, and grab God’s attention for a blessing. With that in mind, New Testament Christian Center will bind together for a week of prayer and fasting, Monday, July 6th - Saturday, July 11th. We ask that each of you fast something every day that week. Some ideas for fasting include a meal, a day of meals, the use of TV, the internet, video games, or abstaining from caffeinated beverages. Each night of the week, there will be a prayer meeting from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. There will also be special youth prayer on Friday night and we hope to see each young person there. Acts 1:14 tells us, “These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.” After they had done this the Bible says the Holy Ghost came down and dwelt in each of them. Let us all take some time and reach out to God so that He can reach down and touch us with a new anointing. We look forward to seeing what God is going to do in our midst.
