| The month of March has five Sundays and we all know what that means; it is time once again for Friends and Family Day. This day is always the perfect time to bring your relatives and neighbors to church. This event will kick off at 10:00 a.m. We will first be fed by the Word of God and then we will adjourn to the fellowship hall for a time of food, fun, and fellowship. This month’s dinner will be provided in a joint effort by the Sunday School and Hostess Departments. Following the dinner will be our annual Mother’s Memorial Cake and Pie Auction. Members of our local assembly will be providing the desserts and it will be up to the rest of us to bid on those wonderful confections. All the proceeds will go to the Mother’s Memorial Fund. Be sure to contact Ellaine Lowry if you are interested in baking something for this event. Those of you who aren’t baking should be sure to speak to Sundae Ragland or Annie Riase about how you can help to make this month’s Friends and Family Day a total and complete success.
